The eternal pain does not lie in the fierce and wild thoughts.
Even though, day and night, they frantically circle,
In the prison of our skulls.
They’re just thoughts, they do what thoughts do.
Eventually, they go away.
But our efforts at harnessing them seem to know no end.
Yet, so much striving is easy to stop.
Are we the ones to uproot them?
