Leaning back against the slope of the Great Freedom
we often mistake it with a stone, a sign or a tree along the way.
Standing against it, we contemplate the hills we have wandered through,
we gauge the path ahead.
The inner conversion is unplanned, incidental.
And there is not a single textbook which is worth reading,
no advice worth listening to.
When the Encounter strikes, it is impossible for this moment not to happen.
The once-tormented man is now laughing at his fears, smiling at his anxieties,
those which have bittered the taste of his life so often.
On the side, the Great Freedom is lying
Waiting for the hug that always ends up occuring.
