As we remain on the cushion through our simple sitting practice,
time flattens into a ribbon which can be softly twisted.
By dilating time, it also compacts it,
This sitting human being can hear the sentence of the Master resonate in the depth of his heart.
A hatch into the practice abruptly opens onto the core of the man who offered such words of wisdom.
Practice allows the encounter to occur.
Should they be a thousand years away or separated by oceans,
Should their lives never physically collide…
This cannot prevent the encounter from occurring.
Cushions are the dots stretching across the invisible grid
Through every dot, passes a thread.
And each of these threads is made of the fibers of countless others.
The practice of simply sitting weaves invisible bonds : it stretches out the hands of beings across space and time alike.
The experience is one.
Whenever palms get in contact, there is no place left for doubt.
An immense gratefulness emerges from the soul.
Joining the hands, bending the head
In a joy both acute and draped in silence.
