When I take the emo-graphic plates
out of the chest vessel,
What do they reveal ?
(The chemical bath is complex and the eyes, uneducated.)
The flowers and the sky,
Blended, and my hands holding the plates –
Still glued in the mixture.
So I put everything back, with all possible care
And gentleness, in the chest pool:
In vivo, so that the work can continue.
In the meantime, I remain seated.
