The more I deepen my practice,
The less prone I am to believing there are different messages across the various traditions.
Once our soul has pierced through the fabric of semantic and cultural environment,
It accesses the essential oneness of the universal message.
Stagnating, circumventing on the fabric are philosophers and theologians.
Practice is beyond.

Many thanks to all
That there are different messages is something to lay to the account of the limitations of prejudiced messengers.
That there should be a single message, albeit expressed differently I tend to agree.
Said the pagan to the Buddhist…!

I never claimed being a Buddhist…
Real Buddhists never do.
Said the Buddhist to the Pagan…!

I am happy to refer to you however you find preferable.
But I suspect nothing is something in more than one sense.
Said the whatever to then nothing.

OK, whatever…
Nothing is presumptuous.
Call me anything,
I’ll do the dis-identifying job on my end,
Provided this end can be called mine.

Dear Anything,
You are hereby so-called.
May you successfully not identify with anything, thereby becoming the nothing that is something.
Signed,
Whatever.
PS… I think now I might need to go and lie down in a darkened room for a while.

Am already lying myself,
Sunday nap
Or identity fright
Who knows?
Signed,
Anything

« Pagan » has the advantage of being a completely meaningless umbrella term that people think they understand, therefore is a useful shorthand that avoids further questions unless from someone who has sufficient understanding of the concept to realise that nothing is being said.
Said the something to the other something.

I’d rather be referred to as a ‘nothing’ , if you don’t mind.
Being nothing, that would be something, right?

Then Whatever will leave Anything in peace.
