My God

It appears as an enlightened perspective to understand, behind the use of the possessive pronoun in ‘My God’ or ‘Our God’,
A mark of intimacy rather than a seal of ownership, as in ‘my love’…
‘My God’ is not therefore a wish to make our belief stand out from other’s (as in ‘my God is more powerful than yours), but a loving, delicate, name for the God I’m intimate with.
The God I experience, encounter in my deepest, purest prayers.
