“For God so loved the world that He gave His only son”…(John 3: 16)
…that He gave His dearest son,
that He gave the most precious part of what He has,
that He gave the most precious part of what He is,
That He gave His heart, His spirit, to the world.
This act of offering allows us to have full confidence in our surrendering.
our letting go of everything in our lives that has been is the result of an ignorance of God.
“Do you not know, have you not heard” ? (Isaiah 40: 28)
This is the point where God is the Father, the Son, and the Spirit,
The place where we are awaited.
The place we are to dwell.
The place we are, to dwell.

Cutting through the Christianised symbolism, I take you are saying we are one with deity, if only we could realise that. If only we could learn to be rather than to pretend.
If so, I can agree. Though I would not have put it in such sectarian terms.

yes… So easy to say and so hard to do.
Precisely, maybe because there is nothing to ‘do’.

The trite response would be « Then do not do it ».
However, that both misses and is the point, as well a being rather facetious.
Being and doing are not the same thing.

yes.
doing not to do is what we try not to do.
And since trying is doing, let us not try to do.
And if we never try to do anything, how can ‘not doing ever be done » ?

oh, and thanks for teaching me the word ‘trite’…

You are welcome. Seems I’ve done something today…!
