Might I suggest that there is no need of oration in the wisdom of the eternal?

no need for oration indeed.
Is there a common etymology for both meaning of ‘oration’ (speech + silent prayer) ?
If such is the case, then this word would mean one thing and its opposite.
A bit like the word ‘stroke’, if I’m correct.
This is probably poorly inspired.
Blame it on a short night.

Oration : du latin oratio, signifie autant « parler » que « prononcer des prières ». (Désignait dans une habitation un lieu dédié à la prière.) Ce dernier sens a donné « oraison » en Français, prière collective qui peut être silencieuse ou prononcée (oraison funèbre). »
