It is said that Diogenes the Cynic once saw a child drinking water from his cupped hands. Diogenes took his wooden cup from his sack – where he kept all his few possessions – and threw it away, exclaiming « A child has beaten me in simplicity! ».
Perhaps you were too taken up with the cup?
