Meaning Of Truth

Truth means genuine,
not a claim of objectivity
not a certificate of property
a long gone knowledge resonating again,
a clogged up stream flowing again,
doing what streams are supposed to to.

Nature.
‘True’ Nature.

  1. That is somewhat idealistic – said the cynic.

    « Truth » is a word.

A word is a symbol of an idea.

It can never be « objective », though those with axes to grind may claim otherwise.

It is a particularly dangerous symbol, because it hides a claim of knowledge, of authority. It is the basis of abuse.

It means what the user wants it to mean – but only to the user. It means whatever the hearer wants it to mean – but only to the hearer. Would that the hearers, in particular, might realise this.

I want it to mean nothing. That renders it harmless, robs the would-be abuser of power.

    To me, it is meaningless.
