Beyond Arguments

When a choice is based on reason, it can be called into question, because the reason which is based on an argument is necessarily the result of an intellectual construction, and there will always be alternative arrangements, leading to a result different.
Thus, the reasonable choice can be modified.

On the other hand, when the choice is based on deep intention, then nothing will be able to make it flicker.
The best arguments, the most impactful elements of language will remain without effect.
Intention is solid.

The one who can let himself be pivoted by a rational argument is not the one who is nourished by intention.
The maneuvers and tools, manipulations and tricks will remain ineffective.

    1. Certainly,
I guess the ‘intention’ was here to de-power reason.
You, of all people, Simon, are well aware that any position can be justified by one who is language-savvy.
Whatever the situation, A and -A can be demonstrated.
Deep intention refers to a more reliable layer of Consciousness, presence, where one, precisely, stops reaching out to (word-based) arguments to get a hold on reality.

When intention and arguments emanate both from the same layer of consciousness, then, balance is key to remain safely away from indulgence and paralysis, as you skillfully mentionned….
