Monotheistic religions offer nothing less than a path of liberation through the domestication of inner energies.
These are personified, incarnated to deploy all the narrative and didactic potential,
Jesus,
Moses,
The prophets,
The characters of the scriptures,
Are in us.
They are the flower of the awakening spirit which, at a moment receives the first rays of morning sun.
They are the way, the path that the consciousness of Man takes, when it receives the rain of Dharma

How about considering religion like a bag of groceries…? It keeps the whole thing together and enables you to bring everything safely home and pass it over to someone to store everything.
But you do not eat the plastic bag.
You can always keep tomatoes, grapes, carrots and potatoes in your arms while walking back home but having enough to eat in the end is not the safest of all bets.

I’ve thought about this, to the conclusion that the bag is too small and inflexible, and full of holes.
