Emergency Mind Button

Whatever the situation, external or self-generated, which sets fire to our mind’s forest,
Whatever the winds of chaos that are blowing in our skull, we are always preventing their fading away with an emergency stop button.

Whenever the parameters of our mind modules are jammed, or when commands are no longer responding, or have been hacked by a certain context, we have an emergency distancing button which we can press to let go of the mind module.

    1. I’m considering that the initial snap-second inner movement may be the same, the differentiating factor occurs in what comes next…in the way we ‘host’ it.
      I don’t know…just a thought…

an underlying confidence, deprived from anxiety. I call it « faith » …Because that is what I believe to be true, and because I dimly rejoyce in the fact it might trigger you.

      1. If you wish to trigger me, you should not tell me that is your intent…!

« Dissociation » I take to be a psychiatric, trauma and stress based response, over which there is little control. It denies emotional involvement by erecting a wall

« Letting go » I take to be a choice, confirming the emotional involvement, even validating it as an experience, but standing aside as an observer, and recognising the transitory unimportance of the experience.

Outwardly, they may appear very similar, but the former is, ultimately, (self) destructive.

        « Faith », indeed…!

      2. There you are…all triggered…
Pretending I had an intent equals to revealing an absence thereof.
(I’m not convinced of the syntactic exactitude here above…)

That is a very neat distinction you made.

        I use « faith » as « anchoring »
