Spiderman Vs Spiderman-The Mirror of Anger.

Anger, those acid squirts of painful words, Aimed towards someone else, In a specific triggering situation, Is but a thick and slimy spider web, In which a 1,000 times, I got caught. Like a pathetic and desperate fly,  I struggled and buzzed back aggressively. Once caught in the web of anger, sucked in and fully unaware of it, things get mad and out of control. Before we know it, we are yelling back unconscious words, convinced we are defending ourselves. Doing so, we are catching our attacker in the same sort of web he threw at us initially. We are letting anger bounce back on us. We are reflecting, letting anger dazzlingly mirror back at others. We need to know once the web is thrown, its rigging is tightening on the one struggling. The harder you fight, the tighter the web. Stopping to struggle is realizing the trap has not been set on us, nor has it been triggered by the situation involving us. The mistake is precisely to believe we are targeted, and the situation has started it all… Anger simply is the cry of the one angry at himself. It is the first step. And we totally miss it. What is following, as potentially destructive as it may be, is nothing but automatic ricochets. By letting anger softly slide away, by listening to its deep harmonic, we can come undone. Free. We are and remain free not to respond, not to grab the web trap, not to reflect the anger one may be feeling against himself. Within this non-reaction, freedom is infinite. You have to taste it to know it. There is nothing to understand. Freedom is unrestrained: our lips disclose a long-muffled happiness, A powerful and intimate joy. Once we have chosen not to mirror anger, there has to be a way to welcome it, to meet it. Sometimes a tiny flick at the mirror is all it takes to allow sunlight to enlighten the dark bottoms of the cave. This has nothing to do with knowledge, with noise and shouts, with gritting teeth… And everything to do with love, silence, and smile.
