If I transpose contemporary forms of communication into one of our senses — touch –,
It would correspond to being permanently grazed by hands.
Our skin, over-stimulated, develops an addiction over time, in the sense that it starts panicking as soon as hands begin to brush it less often, and overstimulations tiring each of our nerve endings…
Social networks, and surface communication reassure as much as they exhaust.
