It is often said that physical death is not the opposite of life.
Yet, I feel as if I were the one initiating this revelation.
This sentence is a doorway through which life passes.
The opposite of life – death in a spiritual sense – is stagnation, a disruption in fluidity,
the heaviness of hearts and related suffering.
Christs puts an end to such a death.
I would not be honest if I didn’t give fee rein to what emerges in me as I’m writing those lines.
The root-teaching of the Buddha on the end of suffering, which happens thanks to the subtle resonances of non-attachment.
The transmutation dynamic of the world, the wide world, which arises from this understanding, takes the form of compassion and love for our neighbor.
