It is true that the zazen of some
Carries the zazen of others.
A blow in the glass gives the shape of sitting,
Collective and individual,
Through an invisible exhalation.

« Carries » in the sense of « includes but surpasses » or in the sense of « shoulders the burden that the other should be carrying »? (I use « burden » simply in the sense of [not] doing something that is the other’s responsibility to [not] do)
J’aimeAimé par 1 personne
I’d say both.
Carry as in « contains and helps ».
One’s practice can never be purely one’s.
« My » practice is an illusion.
This is where the line between meditation and prayer starts fading.
J’aimeAimé par 1 personne
It has been long time since I thought that line had any real validity.
What responsibility, then, does one have for one’s own practice, and what for another’s? Is that even susceptible of answer?
