When, through events and discussions, a distant suffering resurfaces within you and settles into your life for a few days, bringing with it a host of relived emotions and frantic investigations to replay the scenes and understand what happened in that situation…
When such suffering is summoned into your life, it may seem like a free ride on Torture Roller Coaster. Yet, it is an opportunity to encounter the people involved at that time, through a process of conscious awareness, a journey into the past through revisited suffering. Your present self collides with the people of the past, including yourself.
This acute suffering, revived by an unexpected context, allows you to find yourself alongside the people and the situation that overwhelmed and violently impacted you. Above all, do not run away.
Stay with these times that your consciousness is once again nourishing,
Follow the channels that this buried suffering has opened before you.
Speak to those to whom, through lack of confidence or wisdom, you did not say what you wished.
The one who travels through time via these opened channels is deeper than the one who leads your life today. He is your being of wisdom, capable of contacting the forces of wisdom within those involved, including yourself.
And he can illuminate the ignorance of that time, take the hands he did not dare to hold, embrace them to transcend the words he could not utterk, look deep into the other’s eyes and silently express what everyone else did not know.
You can forgive.
This deep being within you can forgive.
This suffering is a door : go through it, walk back through the corridor of time,
Forgive them, forgive yourself,
Free them, free yourself.

This sounds like a sort of dreamquest or visionary journey. I have sought to run through dream imagery to make sense of it. And do not we all relive events of our waking lives?
But there has to be purpose; otherwise there is a danger of mere, vain repetition, I think.

Hello SImon,
I believe it was about inviting to be in command of the ride whenever a painful event is summoned in our mind, rather and using the experience as a material to pierce through, a support for finding space and life again,
rathern thatn just taking the free ride of automatic pain, as we usually do.
« vain repetition » as you name it.
