There is nothing more exhausting than trying to control your thoughts.
After hours and hours of the most energy-consuming attempt at stopping the wild and unruly waterfalls of thoughts, there is nothing else to do but come to the conclusion it can not be done.
We must observe the unruly torrents from the Moving Raft of Breathing, surfing the moment.
We must also be ready to get wet here and there, or even dragged back in the waters as the winds blow harder. The strength of awareness will help us back on the Raft.
