Truth lies behind the stage of words, behind the curtains of concepts,
Go and see for yourself :
behind the curtains of concepts,
Go and see for yourself :
Without cracking the boards,
Discreetly,
Slowly part the curtains
Can you take a peek ?
Move behind them completely ?
And walk through costumes, sets,
Passing painted, hurried faces and half-dressed skins.
Bodies are waiting there,
Sitting on the stairs,
Coming out again into the streets of your life,
Through stage doors.

Truth? I will not repeat myself

Who among us is the one attaching more importance to words ?
J’aimeAimé par 1 personne
Words convey meanings that can be misused. I have seen this word misused. I refuse to give occasion to the malicious. If that is attachment to the word, it is an attachment I am happy to bear.

‘Give occasion to the malicious’
Sounds a lot like what you want to remain away from, doesn’t it?

But I will accidentally click the send button..!
« All the world’s a stage, » according to Shakespeare.
The players are as false as the set.
Would that I might see beyond the theatre, to where truth is meaningless.

Meaningless : this is the reason we call it truth.
Are you familiar with the famous type of reasoning presented in the Sutra ?
A is not A, this is why I call it A.
So is the reason why I call truth truth.
I believe the one refusing to use words is more attached to them than the one using them in a non attached manner.
Like the one obsessed with non drinking is much more dependent that the one indulging in an occasional glass of wine.
I m not sure this parallel is relevant, but have no alternative to offer at the moment …

I have heard that line of thought. But, still, I find the better way is to name the meaningless: « meaningless ».
As to the obsession, see my other response.
Each to his own.
